Privacy Policy for Block Brain Puzzle

Last updated: 20 September 2026

← Block Brain: Block Puzzle Game

This Privacy Policy explains how ONI Games (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the mobile game Block Brain Puzzle (package name com.onigames.blockbrainpuzzle), distributed through Google Play for Android devices (the “Game”).

By installing or playing the Game you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the Game.

In short. We do not ask you for your name, email address, phone number or any account credentials, and we do not operate user accounts. Our own server only receives anonymous Daily Brain scores and weekly league points under a random nickname (see section 3). The Game does, however, include advertising, in-app purchases and optional Google Play Games features provided by Google, and those services collect certain technical data about your device. The sections below describe exactly what that means.

1. Information we do not collect

We want to be specific about this, because it covers most of what people worry about. The Game does not request, collect, store or transmit any of the following:

The Game requests no runtime permissions of this kind, and we maintain no database in which such information could be stored.

2. Information stored on your device

Your game progress is saved locally on your device using the standard Android preferences storage. This includes information such as your best score, coins, boosters, daily reward progress, purchases state and settings such as sound and vibration.

This data is not transmitted to us. If you sign in with Google Play Games, your best score is also sent to the Game's leaderboard (see section 4). Uninstalling the Game deletes the data stored on your device permanently, and it cannot be recovered by us.

3. Daily Brain ranking, weekly leagues and the ONI Games list

Daily Brain ranking. When you finish your first Daily Brain puzzle of the day, the Game sends two numbers to our server: the date of the puzzle and your score. No name, player identifier, advertising identifier or device identifier is included. Our server keeps only a count of how many players reached each score on each day, and answers with how many scores were lower and higher than yours, so the Game can show your rank. Because the data contains no identifiers, it cannot be linked to you. Our server runs on Cloudflare, which, like any web service, processes the IP address of the request to deliver it; we do not store IP addresses.

Weekly leagues. To place you in a weekly league, the Game creates a random identifier and a random nickname (for example “Clever Otter 42”) on your device. After a game it sends that identifier, the nickname and your league points for the week to our server. The identifier is not your advertising identifier, device identifier or Google account, and you never type a name. Other players in your league group can see the nickname and points. We keep league results so players can move between league tiers from week to week. Clearing the Game's data or uninstalling it gives you a new identifier; you can also email us to have league entries for your identifier deleted.

ONI Games list. The Game downloads a public list of our other games, with their names and icons, from our website to show them in the “More Games” screen. No information about you is sent with this request.

4. Information collected by third-party services

The Game integrates services operated by Google. These services collect technical information directly, according to their own privacy policies, and we do not receive the raw data they gather.

Service Purpose Typical data collected
Google AdMob Displays interstitial and rewarded video advertisements Advertising identifier, IP address, device model and operating system version, coarse region derived from IP, ad impressions and interactions
AppLovin, Mintegral and Unity Ads Supply part of the advertising inventory through Google AdMob mediation Advertising identifier, IP address, device model and operating system version, coarse region derived from IP, ad impressions and interactions
Google User Messaging Platform Presents the privacy and consent form required in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and records your choice Consent status, device identifier, IP address

Google Play Billing Processes optional in-app purchases Purchase token, order identifier, product identifier, purchase status

Advertising

The Game shows banner advertisements, rewarded video advertisements that you may choose to watch in exchange for in-game bonuses, and interstitial advertisements between games. Advertising identifiers may be used to show advertisements relevant to your interests, subject to your consent where consent is required and to your device settings.

Advertising is served through Google AdMob mediation. For each advertising slot, AdMob asks several advertising networks which of them will show the advertisement. Besides Google, the networks currently used are AppLovin, Mintegral and Unity Ads. The network that wins the slot receives the same technical information as AdMob for that request, and handles it under its own privacy policy: AppLovin, Mintegral and Unity Ads. Where consent is required, the choice you make in the consent form applies to these partners as well, and declining personalised advertising is passed on to them.

Purchases

All payments are processed by Google Play. We never see, receive or store your payment card number, bank details or billing address. We receive only a confirmation from Google that a given purchase completed successfully, so the corresponding item can be granted inside the Game. Refunds and billing questions are handled by Google Play.

5. Your choices and controls

Consent for personalised advertising

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent form is presented the first time you open the Game. You may accept or decline personalised advertising. You can change your decision at any time through the Privacy option in the Game's settings.

Google Play Games

Signing in with Google Play Games is optional. Your gamer name and scores may be visible to other players on leaderboards, according to your Google Play Games profile settings. You can sign out, change your profile visibility or delete your Play Games data in the Google Play Games settings on your device.

Your advertising identifier

Android lets you reset or delete your advertising identifier, and lets you opt out of advertising personalisation entirely. On most devices this is found under Settings, then Google, then Ads. Doing so does not remove advertising from the Game, but it limits the use of your identifier for personalisation.

Removing all local data

You can erase everything the Game has stored by clearing the app data in your Android settings, or by uninstalling the Game.

6. Legal bases and your rights

Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, processing for personalised advertising relies on your consent, and processing necessary to deliver purchases and to keep the Game functioning relies on the performance of a contract and on our legitimate interest in operating the Game.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export personal data relating to you, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because we do not hold personal data ourselves, requests about data collected by the services listed above should be directed to Google. We will assist you in reaching the right place if you contact us.

If you are a California resident, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act.

7. Children

The Game is not directed at children. It is rated for users aged thirteen and over, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

8. Data retention

We do not retain personal data, because we do not collect it. The anonymous daily score counts described in section 3 are kept to show rankings and may be deleted at any time. Weekly league entries (random identifier, nickname, points) are kept for up to twelve months. Data handled by Google is retained according to Google's own retention schedules, described in the policies linked below.

9. International transfers

The third-party services described above are operated globally and may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Those transfers are governed by the safeguards described in the providers' own privacy policies.

10. Security

Since game data stays on your device, its security depends on the protections your device provides, such as your screen lock and system updates. Communication between the Game and Google's advertising and billing services is encrypted in transit.

11. Third-party policies

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Game changes, for example if new features are added. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the Game's store listing or within the Game itself. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the revised policy.
