This Privacy Policy explains how ONI Games (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the mobile game Idle Restaurant: Miami (package name com.onigames.miamichef), distributed through Google Play for Android devices (the “Game”).
By installing or playing the Game you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the Game.
In short. We do not ask you for your name, email address, phone number or any account credentials. The Game includes advertising, in-app purchases, analytics and optional cloud saving provided by Google, and one small game server of ours for the Restaurant Rush event, which only receives a random player ID made by the Game, a generated nickname and your event score. The sections below describe exactly what that means.
1. Information we do not collect
We want to be specific about this, because it covers most of what people worry about. The Game does not request, collect, store or transmit any of the following:
- Your name, email address, postal address or telephone number
- Account credentials or passwords
- Precise or approximate geographic location
- Your contacts, calendar, call logs or SMS messages
- Photos, videos, microphone audio or camera input
- Health, biometric or financial account information
The Game requests no runtime permissions of this kind, and we maintain no database in which such information could be stored. On Android 13 and newer the Game may ask for permission to show notifications; this is optional and is only used for the reminders described in section 4.
2. Information stored on your device
Your game progress is saved locally on your device using the standard Android preferences storage. This includes information such as your cash and diamonds, your restaurants and their kitchen, elevator and dining room levels, managers, recipes, quests, league and event progress, purchased items and settings such as music, sound, vibration and language.
Cloud save (optional). If you are signed in to Google Play Games on your device, the Game also keeps a copy of this progress in the Saved Games area of your Google Play Games account, so it can be restored when you reinstall the Game or move to a new device. This copy is stored by Google under your Google account; we cannot access it. You can delete it in the Google Play Games settings.
Uninstalling the Game or clearing its storage deletes the progress on the device. Without a cloud save it cannot be recovered by us.
3. Information collected by third-party services
The Game integrates services operated by Google and its advertising partners. These services collect technical information directly, according to their own privacy policies, and we do not receive the raw data they gather. The last row of the table is our own event server.
| Service | Purpose | Typical data collected |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Displays banner, interstitial and rewarded video advertisements | Advertising identifier, IP address, device model and operating system version, coarse region derived from IP, ad impressions and interactions |
| AppLovin, Mintegral and Unity Ads | Supply part of the advertising inventory through Google AdMob mediation | Advertising identifier, IP address, device model and operating system version, coarse region derived from IP, ad impressions and interactions |
| Google User Messaging Platform | Presents the privacy and consent form required in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and records your choice | Consent status, device identifier, IP address |
| Google Play Billing | Processes optional in-app purchases | Purchase token, order identifier, product identifier, purchase status |
| Google Play Games Services | Optional automatic sign-in and cloud save of your game progress | Google Play Games player ID, the saved game progress described in section 2, play time |
| Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config) | Shows us how the Game is used as a whole (for example which levels are reached) and reports crashes so we can fix them | App instance ID, device model and operating system version, app version, coarse region derived from IP, in-game events, crash reports |
| ONI Games event server (Cloudflare) | Runs the Restaurant Rush event: groups players, keeps the event ranking and pays each prize once | A random player ID created by the Game, a generated nickname, your player level and event points. No name, email, advertising ID or location |
Advertising
The Game shows rewarded video advertisements that you may choose to watch in exchange for in-game bonuses (for example doubled income, free cash or diamonds), and it may show banner and interstitial advertisements during play. A one-time purchase can remove the interstitial and banner advertisements. Advertising identifiers may be used to show advertisements relevant to your interests, subject to your consent where consent is required and to your device settings.
Advertising is served through Google AdMob mediation. For each advertising slot, AdMob asks several advertising networks which of them will show the advertisement. Besides Google, the networks currently used are AppLovin, Mintegral and Unity Ads. The network that wins the slot receives the same technical information as AdMob for that request, and handles it under its own privacy policy: AppLovin, Mintegral and Unity Ads. Where consent is required, the choice you make in the consent form applies to these partners as well, and declining personalised advertising is passed on to them.
Purchases
All payments are processed by Google Play. We never see, receive or store your payment card number, bank details or billing address. We receive only a confirmation from Google that a given purchase completed successfully, so the corresponding item can be granted inside the Game. Refunds and billing questions are handled by Google Play.
4. Your choices and controls
Consent for personalised advertising
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent form is presented the first time you open the Game. You may accept or decline personalised advertising. You can change your decision at any time with the Privacy button in the Game’s settings.
Notifications
The Game can schedule local reminders on your device, for example when your restaurants have earned cash while you were away. These notifications are created on your device and do not use any server. On Android 13 and newer the Game asks for permission first. You can turn reminders off at any time in your Android notification settings for the Game.
Your advertising identifier
Android lets you reset or delete your advertising identifier, and lets you opt out of advertising personalisation entirely. On most devices this is found under Settings, then Google, then Ads. Doing so does not remove advertising from the Game, but it limits the use of your identifier for personalisation.
Removing all local data
You can erase everything the Game has stored by clearing the app data in your Android settings, or by uninstalling the Game.
5. Legal bases and your rights
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, processing for personalised advertising relies on your consent, and processing necessary to deliver purchases and to keep the Game functioning relies on the performance of a contract and on our legitimate interest in operating the Game.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export personal data relating to you, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. The only data we hold ourselves is the Restaurant Rush entry described in section 3; to have it deleted earlier, contact us from the Game's settings with the request. Requests about data collected by the other services listed above should be directed to Google or the partner concerned. We will assist you in reaching the right place if you contact us.
If you are a California resident, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act.
6. Children
The Game is not directed at children under thirteen, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
7. Data retention
Our event server keeps the Restaurant Rush entries (random player ID, generated nickname, level and points) only for the running event and the ones shortly before it; they are deleted automatically after about two months. Data handled by Google and the advertising partners is retained according to their own retention schedules, described in the policies linked below.
8. International transfers
The third-party services described above are operated globally and may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Those transfers are governed by the safeguards described in the providers' own privacy policies.
9. Security
For data deletion options see Delete your data.
Game data on your device is protected by the protections your device provides, such as your screen lock and system updates. All communication between the Game, Google's services and our event server is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Game changes, for example if new features are added. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the Game's store listing or within the Game itself. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the revised policy.
