This page explains how players of Dark Tower: Idle Villain TD by ONI Games (package name com.onigames.darktower) can delete their data. The game has no ONI Games accounts and we run no game server, so your data can be deleted by you directly.
Quick answer. Uninstall the game (or clear its storage) to delete your progress on the device, delete the cloud save in Google Play Games if you used it, or email us and we will help.
1. Delete game progress on your device
- Open Android Settings, then Apps, then Dark Tower: Idle Villain TD.
- Tap Storage, then Clear storage (or Clear data). Uninstalling the game has the same effect.
Deleted immediately: gold, gems, crystals, tower levels, conquered worlds, Factory upgrades, Dark Lab research, relics, Abyss progress, daily rewards and quests, purchases state and settings stored on the device.
2. Delete your cloud save and leaderboard entry
Only needed if you were signed in to Google Play Games. The copy of your progress and your Abyss leaderboard score are stored by Google in your Google account.
- Open the Google Play Games settings (in the Google Play Games app, or in the Google Play Store under your profile).
- Choose Delete Play Games account & data, then under Delete individual game data select Dark Tower: Idle Villain TD and confirm.
3. Ask us to help
Send an email to grega.xp@gmail.com with the subject Dark Tower data deletion. We answer within 30 days and guide you through the steps above. We do not store game data about you on any server of ours.
4. Data that is kept
- Purchase records are kept by Google Play for billing, tax and refund purposes. They are managed in your Google account (order history) and are not deleted by the steps above. A VIP subscription is cancelled in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.
- Advertising data (such as the advertising ID and ad interactions) is handled by Google AdMob. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings > Google > Ads. Google keeps such data according to its retention policy.
- Analytics and crash reports (Google Firebase) are not linked to your name or Google account and are kept by Google according to the same retention policy.
