This page explains how players of ONI Snakes by ONI Games (package name com.onigames.onisnakes) can delete their data. The Game has no ONI Games accounts and no password, so most data can be deleted by you directly on your device.
Quick answer. Uninstall the Game (or clear its storage) to delete your progress and your anonymous player identifier on the device. If you also want your leaderboard profile removed from the server, copy your player ID in the Game (Settings > Player ID > Copy) and email it to us; we delete it.
1. Delete game data on your device
- Open Android Settings, then Apps, then ONI Snakes.
- Tap Storage, then Clear storage (or Clear data).
- Uninstalling the Game has the same effect.
Deleted immediately: your nickname, coins, best score, level and experience, unlocked and selected skins, boosters, statistics, settings and the anonymous player identifier stored on the device.
2. Delete your leaderboard profile
When the Game is online it signs in anonymously to Unity Gaming Services, and the global leaderboards keep your player ID, nickname, season points and best score. To have that profile and its leaderboard entries deleted:
- In the Game, tap the gear to open Settings.
- Next to Player ID, tap Copy.
- Email the ID to grega.xp@gmail.com with the subject ONI Snakes data deletion.
We delete the profile and all its leaderboard entries, including archived seasons, within 30 days and confirm by email. If you can no longer open the Game, tell us the nickname you used and roughly when you played, and we will find the profile that way.
Online matches themselves are relayed in real time and are not recorded, so there is nothing to delete once a match has ended.
3. Data that is kept
- Purchase records are kept by Google Play for billing, tax and refund purposes. They are managed in your Google account (order history) and are not deleted by the steps above.
- Advertising data (such as the advertising ID and ad interactions) is handled by Google AdMob. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings > Google > Ads. Google keeps such data according to its retention policy.
ONI Games itself retains no additional data, so there is no further retention period on our side.
