The heroes are coming - and this time, you are the villain.
Dark Tower is an idle tower defense game where you rule a cursed fortress of black stone, antique gold and glowing violet crystals. Wave after wave of holy warriors march on your tower. Blast them with dark magic, grow stronger with every fight and prove that evil always wins.

Is Dark Tower: Idle Villain TD free?
Yes. Dark Tower: Idle Villain TD is free to play. Its ads are optional reward videos that only play when you pick a reward that offers one. Gem packs, a starter pack and a monthly VIP subscription can be bought with real money.
Does my tower earn while I am away?
Yes. While the game is closed, your tower keeps collecting gold and gems for up to 4 hours, and the Idle Vault research in the Dark Lab and the Hourglass of Ages relic make that time longer. The Dark Lab also keeps researching while you are away.
What are Dark Cards?
Powers for one battle. At the start of every battle and every five waves, the fight slows down and three cards appear: chain lightning, meteor rain, a black hole, frost aura, orbiting skulls and more, 20 in all. Pay with Dark Energy from your kills, save it for a rarer card or reroll the hand.
How many worlds and enemies are there?
Five worlds of 50 waves each and 60 hand-painted enemies: knights and paladins of light, fel demons, the frozen undead, creatures of the void and the angels at the gates of heaven. Win a world to open the next one, and replay any world you have conquered.
What is the Abyss?
An endless mode that opens once you have conquered the first world. Every floor is harder than the last, so you can see how deep your darkness goes.
How do I make my tower stronger?
In battle, spend soul orbs on attack, range, attack speed and special shots. Between battles, buy permanent upgrades with gold in the Factory, evolve the tower with crystals, research in the Dark Lab and level up the 12 relics you find in chests.
What does the VIP subscription give?
Dark Lord VIP removes all ads: every reward that offers a video is yours with one tap. You also get 20 gems every day. It renews every month, and you can cancel it on Google Play at any time.
Can I play offline?
Yes. Battles, upgrades and idle rewards work without an internet connection. Reward videos, purchases and the cloud save need one.
Can I keep my progress on a new phone?
Yes. When you are signed in to Google Play Games, the game keeps a copy of your progress in your Google Play Games saved games, so you can restore it after reinstalling the game or on a new device.
Is the game available in English?
Yes. Dark Tower: Idle Villain TD is available in 17 languages, including English.
What do I need to play it?
An Android phone or tablet running Android 8.0 or newer.
