Idle games without ads are rare: in our study of 847 idle games on Google Play, 88% carried the Contains ads label. The rest either sell only in-app purchases, or cost a few dollars once. Here are the best of both, checked against their Google Play pages on September 25, 2026.

What "no ads" means in this list
Every game here is missing Google Play's Contains ads label, which developers must declare. That is the one fact we can check for every game. It does not mean the game has no business model: free games without ads earn from in-app purchases instead, and some push them hard. So next to each game we show the price of its most expensive item. A top price of $300 is a warning sign in its own way.
Our study found something else worth knowing before you choose: idle games without ads are not rated higher than games with ads (a median of 4.33 against 4.36 stars). No ads is a preference, not a guarantee of a better game.

A deep incremental mining game with many interlocking systems, no ads at all and one of the highest ratings in the genre (4.83 from more than 31,000 players). It carries Google's Offline tag and was updated in September 2026.
CyberCode Online
A text-based cyberpunk RPG with idle progress and other players, rated 4.83. Perfect if you like reading and numbers more than animations.
IdleOn - The Incremental MMO
Several characters of different classes level up while you are away, sharing resources for mining, fishing, cooking, farming and boss fights. No ads, more than 5 million installs, and it works offline.
Idle Heroes and AFK Journey
The two big hero collectors on this list. Neither shows ads; both earn from summons and passes, which is where you should watch your spending. If you like building a team of heroes, they are the most polished options without ads.
Capybara Clicker
A light clicker with no ads and nothing in its shop above $11.99, which makes it one of the gentlest games here.

How to get rid of ads in any idle game
- Buy the no-ads option. Many idle games sell one; it is usually a one-time purchase that stays with your Google account.
- Play offline. Ads need a connection to load. Most idle games keep counting offline progress without one. See playing Android games offline.
- Use rewarded videos on purpose. In some games, watching an optional video delays the next forced ad. We explain the formats in rewarded vs interstitial ads.
A note about our own games
Our idle games are not on this list, because they do have ads: optional rewarded videos, and interstitial ads with strict limits. In Idle Ronin an interstitial can never show in the first 3 minutes of a session or within 3 minutes of another, never more than 5 times a session, and never after you buy No Ads. In Idle AI Factory, the Mega Bundle removes interstitials, and watching a rewarded video pushes the next one back.

Not necessarily, but free games without ads earn only from purchases, so check the top in-app price and the reviews. A game whose shop tops out at $10 or $20 puts much less pressure on you than one at $300.
