The Walking Dead: Aftermath is the stand-out: survival action in the Walking Dead universe with no ads and a 4.64 average from over 47,000 ratings in its first ten weeks. Servant of the Lake is the newest Rusty Lake adventure and our puzzle pick. Kingdom Rush 6 is the next chapter of one of mobile's best tower defense series; it is too new to have ratings, but the series' track record earns it a place.
The 2026 standouts still going strong

Coming in 2027: games to watch
- ANANTA (NetEase Games and Naked Rain): a free-to-play urban open-world RPG, announced for 15 January 2027 on Android, iOS, PC and PlayStation 5 at Gamescom 2026. Pre-registration is open.
- DCKO (Drop Fake, licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment): a free-to-play 2-on-2 tag-team fighting game with DC heroes and villains, coming to Android and iOS in 2027. Pre-registration is open, with a beta planned before launch.

What will change for mobile games in 2027
