ONI Snakes Campaign Guide: All 40 Levels, 5 Bosses and 120 Stars
The whole Campaign of ONI Snakes: Armored Arena, sector by sector: all 40 levels with their mode, the marks for one, two and three stars and their twist, the coins and chests they pay, and how to beat Titan King, Hydra, Necro Wyrm, Mecha Overlord and the Golden Snake.
The Campaign of ONI Snakes: Armored Arena is 40 levels in five sectors of eight, and each sector ends with a boss: Titan King, Hydra, Necro Wyrm, Mecha Overlord and the Golden Snake. Every level is a match in one of the game's modes with a goal, and three marks on that goal give one, two and three stars: 120 stars in all. Below is every level with its mode, star marks and twist, and how to beat the five bosses.
We make ONI Snakes, so every number here comes from the game's code.
How the Campaign works
- Stars: a star is yours the moment you reach its mark, and dying afterwards does not take it back. One star clears a level and opens the next, and a new sector opens when you beat the boss of the one before.
- Short levels: a level ends early when you reach three stars on a goal that only grows, or when the boss falls. King of the Hill, Deathmatch, Team Battle and boss levels last 2:30, the others 2:00.
- Sharper rivals: in the first sector the computer snakes react slowly and carry about half the strength of your gear; in the last they shoot more often and carry a little more than yours.
- Twists: many levels carry one of the Daily Challenge mutators, and on Survive levels a third of the arena hunts you.
- No trophies at stake: Campaign matches never move your trophies, and any cleared level can be replayed for more stars.
Rewards
- First clears: 40 coins plus 10 per level number, from 50 coins for level 1 to 440 for level 40: 9,800 coins in all.
- Bosses: the first defeat of a boss pays an Epic chest in sectors 1 and 2 and a Legendary chest after that.
- Star chests: every 15 stars pay a chest: Rare at 15 and 45 stars, Epic at 30, 60 and 90, Legendary at 75 and 105, and Mythic at 120.

The mutators work as in the Daily Challenge: Speed Frenzy makes every snake a third faster, Glass Cannon doubles the plates every hit knocks off, Fog of War closes the view in, Feast brings two and a half times the food, Rocket Party gives every snake a rocket launcher, and Low Battery halves your cells and makes guns run hot. The rules of each mode are in our game modes guide.
How to beat the bosses
A boss level is a Boss Hunt with only that sector's boss, and it arrives at 7 seconds. Campaign bosses play by special rules: a crash does not kill them (the boss cuts through a snake's body instead, like Iron Shell), the wall turns them back, and they never grow past their starting size, from about 90 plates in the first sector to 190 or more in the last. The only way to win is a fight: strip the plates, then hit the core.
Stars on boss levels come from speed: one for the win, two if 0:50 is still on the clock (0:45 in sectors 4 and 5) and three with 1:20 left (1:15). The bosses fire rockets, and all but the Golden Snake have a move of their own that they show a moment before; in the early sectors the moves come less often.
- Titan King (Neon Grid): its Shockwave ring swells for a second before it slams, taking plates and slowing everything inside. When you see the ring, dash out, then shoot from range.
- Hydra (Serpent Jungle): it glows in its colour before its Salvo, a fan of bolts aimed at you. Tap DASH as the fan comes.
- Necro Wyrm (Bone Wastes): it fades out and surges at you unseen. Keep moving, and never leave your body lying across its path.
- Mecha Overlord (War Factory): its EMP jams every gun inside its ring. When it crackles, get out of range, then come back shooting.
- The Golden Snake (Treasure Vault): no special move, but it is the biggest Campaign boss. Bring a gun with range, such as the Rifle or Sniper, and a Shield drone for its rockets.
FAQ
How many stars are in the ONI Snakes Campaign?
120: three on each of the 40 levels. Every 15 stars pay a chest, and all 120 pay a Mythic chest.
How do I beat Titan King?
Keep your distance and watch for the ring that swells around it before its Shockwave: dash out of it, then strip its plates from range and hit the core. It cannot be killed by a crash.
Can I replay Campaign levels?
Yes. Any cleared level can be replayed for more stars; the first-clear coins are paid only once.
