The Restaurant Rush is the 5-day race of Idle Restaurant: Miami: a fresh Donut Drive-In, a leaderboard of 30, event coins and prizes up to 400 diamonds and a permanent trophy. How points, coins, the shop and the prizes work, and how to finish in the top 3.

The Restaurant Rush is a 5-day race in Idle Restaurant: Miami. Everyone starts a brand-new Donut Drive-In from zero, scores points by building it up and competes on a leaderboard of 30. The top 3 win diamonds and a trophy worth +5% income in every restaurant for good. Then comes one day of break, and the next rush starts.

How to join

The Rush unlocks at player level 8 and needs an internet connection: our game server keeps the clock, the groups and the prizes, so the time on your phone does not matter. If your connection drops during a rush, you can keep playing and your points are sent later.

The Donut Drive-In

The rush restaurant works like your others, with kitchens, an elevator and a counter, but it starts from nothing and earns x2. It has its own cash, floors, managers and boosts, and all of that is gone when the rush ends, together with anything bought for it. Only the prizes stay.

How points work

Your score is what you do in the rush restaurant:

Floors are worth the most, so a fast climb is the core of a good rush. Levels add up too: holding the upgrade button can earn dozens of points in a few seconds.

Our server checks that every score stays within what can really be played. A score far above that cap is moved to a separate group and gets no prize.

Event coins

Event coins pay for the rush shop. You get them from:

Floor milestones: 15, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 75 coins at 3, 5, 7, 10, 12 and 15 floors, 230 in total.
Road cars: 2 coins per car and 10 per golden car.
Videos in the shop: 8 coins each, up to 5 per rush.
The two packs (real money): 40 and 120 coins.

The x2 until the end is the best buy when it comes early, because it doubles every hour that is left. Save x4 and x10 for a session in which you can play the whole hour.

A trophy adds +5% income in every restaurant for good, up to 10 trophies. Each prize is paid once; if you are offline when the rush ends, it waits for you.

Who you race against

Each group has 30 places. Real players share it with computer racers that fill the empty places, and the leaderboard shows every score, with gold, silver and bronze medals for the top 3 and a message when someone overtakes you. Tips for the top 3

Start on day one. You get the most hours of x2 and the most time to climb.
Hire managers right away. Each is 10 points and keeps the rush restaurant earning while you are away.
Build floors, then levels. A floor is 20 points and can reach a coin milestone; buy levels in between with the hold button.
Tap the cars. 5 points and 2 coins each, 10 coins for a golden one.
Watch video boosts. Each one is 10 points on top of the income.
Buy x2 early if you plan to use the shop at all.
