Idle Restaurant: Miami: All 5 Restaurants, Perks and 20 Recipes

A guide to every restaurant on the Miami map: what each one costs, the perk it brings, its special moments such as Tiki happy hour and the Sushi night shift, and all 20 recipes of the Recipe Book with the floors that unlock them.

Idle Restaurant: Miami has five restaurants on its map: Ocean Pizza, Sushi Club, Tiki Bar, Cafe Cubano and Lobster Club. You start with Ocean Pizza and open each next one with cash from the one before. Every restaurant is a new tower with its own look, chef, managers, dish and four recipes, and each one is 1,000 times bigger than the last, in prices and in income.

We make Idle Restaurant: Miami, so every number here comes from the game's code.

Big numbers use letters after K, M, B and T: aa is a thousand trillion, and ab, ac and ad are each 1,000 times more. For scale, 100aa is about what Ocean Pizza's 11th floor costs, so Sushi Club opens around the time Ocean Pizza gets past its second construction break. Each restaurant keeps its own wallet, and a new one starts with a little cash of its own.

Ocean Pizza

The beach pizzeria where the story starts. It has no special perk, but it is where you learn the game, and its recipes, Margherita, Pepperoni Blast, Hawaiian Sunset and Lobster Pizza, fill the first page of the Recipe Book.

Sushi Club

Downtown after dark. Sushi Club stores offline earnings for up to 24 hours instead of 12, which makes it the best restaurant to leave running overnight. It also has a night shift: from 22:00 to 02:00 on your phone's clock it earns x2 while you play.

Tiki Bar

A beach party with burgers and cocktails. Its video boost is x3 instead of x2, and the first 10 minutes of every even hour are happy hour: x3 income while you play, with stage lights over the bar. The game can remind you when the next one starts.

Cafe Cubano

A family cafe. Managers cost half as much here, and more of them are Experts: 23% instead of 12%. Once a day a domino waits at the door: pick one of three face-down tiles, and if it matches the tile on the table you win 10 diamonds and 30 minutes of income; otherwise 10 minutes.

Lobster Club

The top of Miami. Diamonds from level milestones are doubled here, every new floor gets fireworks, and a golden VIP crown appears at the door every 70 to 140 seconds, twice as often from 22:00 to 02:00. Tap it for a tip: 90 seconds of income, and one time in four 3 diamonds on top.

Miami follows your clock

The game uses the time on your phone: sunny days, golden evenings and neon nights. Rain falls in about a quarter of the hours, for 20 minutes, and every restaurant earns +20% while it rains. Rain, the night shift and happy hour only count while you play, not in offline earnings.

The Recipe Book: 20 real recipes

From player level 3, every restaurant has four recipes. They unlock at 3, 6, 9 and 12 floors, counted as your record in that restaurant, so a renovation never takes them away. Each recipe adds +10% income to its restaurant, and a full page pays diamonds once: 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 for the five restaurants.

They are real recipes. Tap a learned card to see the ingredients and the steps, and cook the dish at home. All the drinks are alcohol-free versions.

Travel, Collect all and Deliveries

You play one restaurant at a time, and the others keep earning offline meanwhile. The World Map shows a coin over every restaurant with cash waiting, and Collect all puts that cash into each restaurant's wallet without travelling. From your second restaurant, Deliveries send a van between two of your restaurants on missions of 15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes. It pays 4, 8, 15 or 25 diamonds, plus that much offline income for the destination.

The sixth restaurant: Donut Drive-In

Donut Drive-In is not on the map. It opens only for the Restaurant Rush, a 5-day race from player level 8, and starts from zero every time. Our Restaurant Rush guide explains it.

FAQ

Which restaurant earns the most?

Each one earns 1,000 times more than the one before, so your newest restaurant is almost always the best earner. The older ones still help: their stars add 10% each in every restaurant.

Does opening a new restaurant reset the old one?

No. Every restaurant keeps its floors, managers and cash. Only a renovation restarts a restaurant, and only the one you choose.

Are the recipes real?

Yes: 20 real recipes with ingredients and steps. All the drinks are alcohol-free versions.
