Idle Ronin Events: Neon Halloween, Cyber Christmas and Lunar New Year

How the three yearly events of Idle Ronin: Cyber RPG work: Neon Halloween drops and every trade with its price, the Cyber Christmas gadget factory and its 12 rewards, the Lunar New Year bundle, and what to do first in each.
Idle Ronin: Cyber RPG has three yearly events, and the first one is close: Neon Halloween runs from 20 October to 10 November. Here is how each event works, what it pays and how to get the most from it.

Neon Halloween
From stage 50, every boss you beat can drop a Neon Halloween item: a Neon Pumpkin (40% of drops), Holo Candy (30%) or a Hex Hat (30%). Bosses beaten while you are offline count too. The drop chance is small just past stage 50 and grows as you climb, and from stage 500 every boss has a 50% chance. Once an hour you can also watch a video for 3 of each item.

What to trade first
- The Gold Equipment. A level 10 Gold piece adds +500% ATK on its own, and it is the only Gold piece you can get without spending diamonds. It is also the best base for refining, as our equipment guide explains.
- The Void Hacker skin: +10% ATK for 75 items.
- The Purple Equipment.
- Then Rebirth Tokens while they are cheap: the first 30 cost 8 items, the fifth batch 40.
The three once-only rewards need 160 Neon Pumpkins, 185 Holo Candy and 210 Hex Hats in total. Hex Hats are the bottleneck, since they are only 30% of drops, so do not spend them on repeatable trades until the once-only rewards are yours.
Cyber Christmas
Santa's gadget factory needs 36 different gadgets. Choose a production time in the event window; one production runs at a time, it keeps going while the game is closed, and the gadgets come out at random:

Duplicates do not count toward the 36, and every 3 different gadgets unlock a reward:

The 12-hour run gives the most gadgets per hour, so start one before bed and another in the morning. Duplicates pile up near the end, so begin early in December. Gadget progress starts over each year. The Christmas Bundle, an optional in-app purchase with the Frost Claus skin and 900 diamonds, is on sale during the event until you buy it.
Lunar New Year
Lunar New Year runs from a week before the first day of the lunar year to two weeks after it: from 30 January to 20 February in 2027. It brings the Lunar New Year Bundle, an optional in-app purchase with the Golden Dragon skin, 900 diamonds and the Golden Oracle, a unit that joins the Worker Set as its fifth member.
