ONI Snakes Sets and Upgrades: Blueprints, Rarity, Levels and Power
How ONI Snakes: Armored Arena's 62 sets, 6 guns and 15 drones grow: blueprints, coin levels, rarity caps and promotions, what each of the five parts does, every set by collection and rarity, prices, the album rewards and the cheapest way to each set.
ONI Snakes: Armored Arena has 62 snake sets, 6 guns and 15 drones, and all of them grow the same way: blueprints assemble an item, coins level it up, and blueprints again promote it to the next rarity. This guide explains the whole system, what Power really does and the cheapest way to each set.
We make ONI Snakes, so every number here comes from the game's code.
Sets and parts
A set is five parts that make one look: the head core, the body armor, the visor, the helmet and the mouth. You can mix parts from different sets freely, and each part gives your snake one small stat at the level of the set it comes from:
| Part | What it improves | At level 25 |
|---|---|---|
| Head core | an extra cell now and then as you grow | +12% cells |
| Body armor | a hit sometimes knocks off one plate less | +12% armor |
| Visor | how much of the arena you see | +10% view |
| Helmet | how long you survive as a bare core | +36% core time |
| Mouth | how far away you pick up food | twice the pickup range |
A whole set worn together also pays a bonus on every match, by its current rarity: Common +5% coins, Rare +10% XP, Epic +10% coins and XP, Legendary +15% of both and Mythic +20% of both. Mixed parts give their stats but not the bonus.
62 sets, 12 collections, 5 rarities
The 16 Originals are four designs in four colours (Cobalt, Ember, Venom and Violet): Striker (Common), Sentinel (Rare), Ravager (Epic) and Shogun (Legendary). The other 46 sets fill 11 themed collections:
| Collection | Rare | Epic | Legendary | Mythic |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Inferno | - | Magma, Hellfire | Mecha Dragon | Phoenix |
| Frost | Glacier Cryo, Blizzard | Ice Wraith | - | - |
| Volt | Voltage Surge | Stormbreaker | Tesla Mech | - |
| Toxic | Plague Reactor, Hornet, Toxic Waste | - | Toxic Biohazard | - |
| Cosmic | - | Void Phantom, Vortex | - | Galaxy, Eclipse |
| Prism | - | Quantum Chromatic, Synthwave, Crystal Shard, Pixel Glitch | Hologram, Radiant Prism | - |
| Wild | Ocean Warden | Abyssal Leviathan | Elder Tree | Neon Jelly |
| Mech | Siege Titan, Clockwork, War Machine | Cyber Samurai | - | - |
| Ancient | - | Golden Scarab, Jade Serpent | Pharaoh, Crimson Ronin | Quetzal |
| Dark | Crimson Fang | Shadow Star | Vampire, Eldritch | Bone Reaper, Medusa |
| Divine | - | Paladin | Solar Sovereign | Seraph |
In all: 4 Common, 15 Rare, 20 Epic, 15 Legendary and 8 Mythic sets. Every set is on sale from the start, priced per part:
| Rarity | Coins from | Coins a part | Gems a part |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | rank 1 to 4 | 450 to 990 | coins only |
| Rare | rank 6 to 12 | 2,700 to 4,680 | 80 to 110 |
| Epic | rank 20 to 29 | 11,500 to 16,900 | 280 to 355 |
| Legendary | rank 40 to 52 | 32,000 to 50,000 | 760 to 910 |
| Mythic | rank 60 | 90,000 | 1,250 |
A whole set costs 75% of its five parts: about 1,700 coins for the cheapest Common set, and 337,500 coins or 4,690 gems for a Mythic one. Coins buy a set only from its rank; gems buy it at any rank.
Blueprints, levels and rarity
Every set, gun and drone grows the same way:
- Blueprints assemble it. An item you have not bought is built from its own blueprints: 10 for a Common item, 25 Rare, 50 Epic, 80 Legendary and 120 Mythic. It assembles by itself once you have enough.
- Coins level it up. One tap, one level, up to 25, and every level adds Power. Early levels are cheap (100 coins for level 2, 200 for level 3), the last ones dear (30,000 coins for level 25).
- Rarity sets the top level. Common items stop at level 5, Rare at 10, Epic at 15, Legendary at 20 and Mythic at 25. An item starts at its own rarity.
- Blueprints promote it. At the top level of its rarity an item is promoted with blueprints and coins, and the promotion is itself the next level.
| Promote to | Blueprints | Coins |
|---|---|---|
| Rare | 20 | 1,000 |
| Epic | 50 | 4,000 |
| Legendary | 100 | 10,000 |
| Mythic | 200 | 22,000 |
So any item can become Mythic, even a Common set, and a promoted set pays the match bonus of its new rarity.
Wild blueprints fit any item and fill the last few you are short of. They come from the Black Market (5 for 80 tokens), the Star Pass and chests: sometimes 2 in an Epic chest, 3 to 5 in a Legendary one and 8 to 12 in a Mythic one. Blueprints for an item already at Mythic level 25 turn into coins.
What Power does
Every item has a Power number that comes from its level alone: 100 at level 1, rising a little more with every level to about 4,000 at level 25. TOTAL POWER in the menu adds up what you take into a match: your snake (each of the five parts counts a fifth of its set's Power), your gun and your drones.
The effects are small on purpose: a level-25 set adds 12% to its stats, and a level-25 gun runs 30% cooler. Offline, the computer snakes are matched to about your own Total Power, so upgrades keep the fights fair rather than easy. Aim, dodging and positioning decide far more fights than Power.
The cheapest way to each set
- Free sets: every fifth rank gives a whole set you do not own yet, starting from the Common ones, and your very first chest, before you own any set, brings exactly enough blueprints for a whole Common set.
- The Star Pass: every month the free row holds an Epic set at tier 30, and the premium row a Legendary set at tier 20 and a Mythic set at tier 35. It is by far the cheapest way to a Mythic set.
- Blueprints: chests bring blueprints for what you wear and own most often, and the Black Market sells the exact ones you want for tokens: 15 Common blueprints for 20 tokens, 10 Rare for 35, 7 Epic for 60 or 4 Legendary for 100.
- Coins: the easy way to Common and Rare sets; Epic and better sets take a long save.
- Gems: skip the rank wait on a set you really want.
Album rewards
The album in COLLECTION pays for what you complete, once each:
- A whole set: 20 gems (Common), 40 (Rare), 80 (Epic), 150 (Legendary) or 250 (Mythic).
- A whole collection: 100 gems for every set in it, up to 1,000, plus a Legendary chest, or a Mythic chest for the big collections of six sets or more (Originals, Prism and Dark).
Completing everything is worth 12,130 gems, three Mythic chests and nine Legendary chests.
FAQ
How do I get Mythic sets in ONI Snakes?
Three ways: the premium Star Pass gives the month's Mythic set at tier 35; the shop sells every Mythic set for 90,000 coins a part from rank 60, or 1,250 gems a part at any rank; and any set you own can be promoted all the way to Mythic with blueprints. Mythic sets never drop from chests.
Does Power matter in ONI Snakes?
A little. A level-25 set adds 12% to its stats and a level-25 gun runs 30% cooler, and offline rivals are matched to your Total Power. Aim, dodging and positioning decide far more fights.
What are Wild blueprints?
Blueprints that fit any set, gun or drone. Use them for the last few blueprints an item needs to assemble or to be promoted.
