Idle Summoner Rebirth Guide: Classes, Rewards and Timing

How rebirth works in Idle Summoner: Pixel RPG, what resets and what you keep, the class ranks up to Master, when to rebirth and how invasions add progress.

Rebirth is the long-term engine of Idle Summoner: Pixel RPG. You give up your current stage and legion, and in return your summoner gets permanently stronger. In the game it appears as raising your player rating. Here is how it works, what it costs you and when it pays off.

How rebirth works in Idle Summoner

Tap your player icon to open the player panel. Before stage 50 it only tells you that your rating can be raised after 50 stages. From stage 50 on, the rebirth option appears and shows what you will get.

The key number is your player level. When you rebirth, your player level becomes the stage you are on, as long as that is higher than your current level. Every player level adds 1% damage to all your monsters, so a rebirth at stage 120 with player level 80 adds another 40%.

Each rebirth also pays a reward of gold, souls and gems. It grows with your stage and with how high up the chain and how well starred the monsters in your slots are, so rebirth with your best legion still in place. If your stage is not above your player level, the panel shows Earn Gem instead: you still collect the reward, but your level does not rise.

What resets and what you keep

The confirmation says it plainly: all monsters and skills are reset, and you return to stage 1. In detail:

  • Reset: your stage, the monsters in all eight slots, their levels and bonus abilities, and every skill level, which goes back to 1.
  • Kept: your player level, your gold, souls and gems plus the reward, the skills you have bought, your artifacts, the Monster Book, unlocked slots, scrolls, invasion progress and territories, and your Tower of Infinity records.

Because gold carries over, you do not need to spend it all before a rebirth. Avoid pouring gold into monster or skill levels right before one, though, since those levels are wiped.

Class ranks and the road to Master

Your player level also sets your class rank. New ranks arrive at player level 50, 100, 150, 250, 350 and 500, the last one being Master. Each rank changes your portrait and the look of the monster gate, and it raises your summon success rate: +1% at level 50, climbing to +6% at level 500.

Ranks matter for invasions too. Some regions of the invasion map turn you away until your level is high enough: the third region needs player level 150 and the fourth needs 350.

Reaching Master does not end the climb. Every rebirth after that multiplies the gold your monsters convert into by 1.5, and the effect stacks with each further rebirth.

When is rebirth worth it?

There is no single right moment, but these signs point to a good one:

  • Your stage is well above your player level. The gap is your damage gain, so a rebirth at stage 60 with player level 55 buys only 5%.
  • Progress has stalled. If the boss timer keeps running out even after levelling your monsters and using Freeze, a rebirth is usually the faster way forward.
  • A new rank is within reach. Crossing 50, 100, 150, 250, 350 or 500 adds summon success and can open a new invasion region.
  • Your slots are full of strong, well starred monsters, which makes the reward bigger.

A rebirth that only shows Earn Gem is rarely worth it early on: you restart from stage 1 for a reward, without any level gain.

Invasions and the Tower of Infinity between rebirths

Invasions are progress that rebirth never takes away. Open the Invasion tab and pick the next castle on the invasion map. Each attack costs one Battle Point: you hold up to five and get one back every five minutes. Your legion then has 30 seconds to break the castle, using the skills in your invasion setup.

Captured castles pay in one of three ways. Some add a new monster to your Monster Book, which raises how high you can summon. The rest pay gold or souls every 60 seconds from then on, while you play and, at a lower rate, while you are away.

Clearing every castle in a region opens the next region and that region's Tower of Infinity. In the tower you have 60 seconds to break as many floors as you can, and you earn gold and souls for every floor. Your best floor is saved, and the stronger legion you build after each rebirth pushes it higher.

A simple rebirth routine

  • Push stages until the boss timer stops you, then level your monsters and bring Freeze.
  • Spend Battle Points on invasions whenever they are full, so none of the refill is wasted.
  • When your stage is well above your level, or a new rank is close, rebirth with your best monsters still in their slots.
  • After the rebirth, refill your slots, level your skills again and climb. Each run should go further than the last.

Rebirth turns Idle Summoner from a short climb into a long one. Take it steadily and your summoner will be a little stronger every time you come back. You can find Idle Summoner: Pixel RPG free on Google Play.
